2. We will have agreed a suitable time and date for the repair.
    

3. Once you've done this please pay us the minimum of £20 plus vat. Most jobs only cost this but if you require a lot of work to be carried out this may be increased. You will pay the increased charges (if applicable) when the work is complete. Click link below to pay

   

4. On the day of the remote, download our remote software from our site.
    

5. Download our Remote Software.

6. On the day & time of your remote repair please make sure you have entered your password and clicked start. (if a firewall request outbound access to remhelp.exe you must allow it!)

Question: What is remote access and how does it work?
Answer: Remote access allows our computer engineer to conduct repairs or Health Checks using a remote control software.  What happens is you download our remote software, select which office the Technician is in then enter a security code given by the Technician.  Once you click the start button, a member of Cartwright Computers has full access to your computer enabling us to carry out what ever task you have set us.

Question Who Can Use The Service?
Answer: Any one in the world can use the service all you do is request a remote repair, arrange a time with an engineer, pay your minimum £20 then wait for a engineer to contact you!

Question: Do I need a internet connection?
Answer: Yes! For the remote to work you must have a broadband connection.  Dialup does work but is very slow! and not recommended

Question: How much is the service and how do I pay?
Answer: Depends on what you require, we ask you to pay the minimum of £20 plus vat before we carry out the remote.  You can pay us using paypal or if living in England by calling our office on 01900 838230 to pay by card.

Please note your firewall may require authorisation for our software to work.  Our software may ask for remhelp.exe to access the internet. This must be ALWAYS allowed.
